Moscow city hall has launched an SMS service to spy on debtors
The Department of information technology of Moscow has launched an SMS-service to track possible arrears in fines, fees and other payments, the press service of the Department reports.
Now, to find out about the debts on enforcement proceedings, you need to send an SMS to the number 7377 with the name and date of birth of the potential debtor. The request will be sent directly to the FSSP data Bank. If the subscriber has any debts, his number will receive confirmation of SMS-request: the amount of debt, as well as the name and contacts of the bailiff.
In addition, the user can set up a regular SMS-notification. In the text of the request to the FSSP data Bank, it is enough to specify the name and date of birth in the format “FSSP surname first name DD.mm. yyyy.”
As noted in the press service, this service is designed to ensure that citizens know in advance about their forgotten debts. At the same time, the period for voluntary payment of fines has recently been increased from 30 to 60 days due to the leave period.
In Moscow in 2012, a project was launched, according to which the traffic police regulations, for which payments were overdue, are automatically transferred to the Federal bailiff service.
